Conwy Half Marathon - 18 November 2012 - 12 Noon

will start at 12.15, so bring along the whole family for a fun day.

Half Marathon Start time
This years race will start at 12 noon 18th November 2012 near Conwy Bridge.
The start and finish is on the quay near the life boat station.
Race HQ
This year the race HQ will be in the Royal British Legion, Conwy.
This is where you will need to pick your race number up from, either on the Saturday 8am - 6pm or race day 8am - 11.30am.
Presentation will also be held here from 2.30pm approx.
Water stations
Decantae (more) still water will be available around the course at approximately 3 mile, 6 mile, 9 mile and also at the finish.
Toilet facilities
The following toilet facilities will be available:
At the start and finish on Conwy Quay.
Shower facilities
There are Leisure Centres with shower facilities in Llandudno Junction (1 mile), Llandudno (3.5 miles) and Colwyn Bay (4 miles)
Bag storage
The baggage store will be open from 9.00am on the quay near the start / finish area. All runners will be allowed to store one bag, which must have your numbered baggage label on it.
You can collect your bag after the race on production of your runner number.
Please do not bring valuables with you as the race organisers cannot be held responsible if items go missing. We will do our best to safeguard your baggage, but the area is not a locked up secure area.

Race day parking
Parking is available on Llanrwst Road, just around the corner from the Castle, the Council offices at Bodlondeb, Conwy and also at the Beacons in Conwy Morfa (approx 1.5 miles out of Conwy, a 20 minute walk)
cost £2. All entrants will be notified when parking in these locations has reached capacity.
Other parking will be available in and around the Llandudno Junction area or in Llandudno, Arriva train/bus services will be available, please contact them directly nearer the time for a time table of services.
PLEASE TRY TO ARRIVE IN CONWY BEFORE 10.30am AS THIS IS A SMALL TOWN AND CAN BECOME VERY CONGESTED ON LARGE EVENTS LIKE THIS.

This year the race is being filmed from the RunWales helicopter and will be freely available for all to see on runwales.com
www.tonyfanningphotography.co.uk will be covering the event and taking pictures of everyone as they cross the finishing line.
