Race starts at 1pm and fun run at 1.15pm, the following day sees the Olympic Torch pass through the city.

   A new race starting in Bangor City centre incorporating

 2 laps, this race is open to runners of all abilities.

 The fast course will take you through the heart of Bangor,

 alongside the spectacular Menai straits, past the pier and

 through the main shopping area, whilst taking in views of

 the surrounding North Wales coastline.

 This race is quite simply "Scenery and the City"

 There'll be lots going on so come along and be part of

 history as Bangor prepares to welcome the Olympic Flame.
