St David’s Hospice is a local charity, caring for local people, delivering specialist care to adult patients with advanced illnesses or those in need of end of life care and their families.

Every year, this touches the lives of over 1000 people within our local communities from across the counties of Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.

St David’s Hospice delivers specialist care free of charge at our Inpatient Unit in Llandudno, Therapy Centres in Bangor and Llandudno, as well as in the comfort of patient’s own homes via our Hospice at Home and Outreach services.

Here for you in your local community – 24 hours, 365 days the year, providing a clinical service alongside emotional, physical and spiritual support.

It costs over £4million each year to deliver the services – that’s over £9,000 a day. The majority of this comes from community fundraising. None of these costs are passed to the patients, their families or carers, because St David’s Hospice care is free to all.

The half marathon series includes the Snowdonia Half Marathon on the 17th May, Caernarfon Half Marathon on the 20th September, Bangor Half Marathon on 4th October and the newly named, St David’s Hospice Conwy Half Marathon on 15th November. Each participant running for the Hospice will receive their place for free, in return for a minimum sponsorship.
You can choose to take part in one half marathon (minimum sponsorship level for Snowdonia Half, Caernarfon Half & Bangor Half £75 each and Conwy £100), or all four to complete the series (£200 minimum sponsorship for all four)
