Getting to the start in Llanrwst & Parking

From the A55 take junction 19 and head along the A470 towards llanrwst for about 10 minutes, you will see the parking signs and marshals as you enter the town (Car Park 1) If this becomes full, continue along the A470 through the town for approx 1/4 mile and follow the parking signs (Car Park 2)

Race HQ / Enquiries

Is at Glasdir, right next to car park 1 and a 2 minute walk to the start finish area. Glasdir, Plas yn Dre, Llanrwst, Conwy, North Wales, LL26 0DF

Drink Stations

There will be 3 drink stations plus water at the finish. The first is around 3.5, the second approx. at mile 6 and the third about mile 9, water is provided in a 500ml sealed bottle, you may take more than one but if you require lots of water whilst running we would recommend you bring your own water bottle.

Toilets / Changing

Toilets are located at the start finish, there is limited changing and showering facilities at the start finish and more at the leisure centre (Car Park 2)

First Aid

First Aid stations will be located at the start and finish and on course. In order to help our medical team, help you it is critical you fill out the medical history information on the back of your race number. If you are injured or unwell to carry on at any stage please notify the nearest marshal who will call for First Aid assistance. It will be the discretion of the medical team if they transport you back to the finish.

If you retire from the race please return your Timing Chip &if you plan not to return to the finish, it’s really important that you let the nearest Marshal to you know and give them your race number and Timing Chip. This is so we can account for you at the end of the race. It is your responsibility to arrange transport back to the start.

Tshirts / Medals / Prizes

There will be a Tshirt and medal for all runners to collect at the finish. Presentation of 1st, 2nd, 3rd will be when both 3rd places have crossed the line, vet prizes will be presented at 3pm. You must be at the presentation to claim your prize, we will not post it.

Baggage

You may leave a small bag (50cmx30cmx20cm) at the baggage area during the race where, if possible it will be manned , and although every effort will be made to securely store your baggage, Please DO NOT leave any valuables, cash. Jewellery etc in your bag as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. Items not in a bag maybe refused or left at your own risk.

A baggage facility may not be available at each event.

  • Normal road running shoes are fine for this race.
