Number and chip collection
Please pick up your number and chip from race HQ , the chip will need to be attached to your shoe, this is easily done using a small cable tie which will be provided.
The chip will need to be returned when collecting your T-shirt and Medal.

Parking
There is plenty of public car parking in and around Caernarfon town (charges apply).
Changing and showers
There are No changing or shower facilities available at this event.
Water
Water will be available approximately every 3-4 miles and at the finish.
First Aid
First Aid cover will be provided by a professional medical team. First Aid station will be located at the start and finish and on course. In order to help our medical team, help you it is critical you fill out the medical history information on the back of your race number. If you are injured or unwell to carry on at any stage please notify the nearest marshal who will call for First Aid assistance. It will be the discretion of the medical team if they transport you back to the finish.
If you retire from the race please return your timing chip, & if you plan not to return to the finish, it’s really important that you let the nearest Marshal to you know and give them your race number & Timing Chip. This is so we can account for you at the end of the race.

It is your responsibility to arrange transport back to the start.
T-shirts/Medals/Prizes
T-shirts and medals are handed out at the finish line, presentation will be at the finish line
You must be at the presentation to claim your prize, we will not post it out
Merchandise – Open from 08:00am
If you ordered a Technical T-shirt or hoodie online, these can be picked up from the merchandise trailer before or after the race, we will also have some race day merchandise available to buy on the day (cash only).
At each race we have a huge jumble sale of old stock from past races, these items are on a cash only sale
Baggage – opens 08:00am
Please label your bag clearly with your number on a prominent part of your bag. Tags will be available but it speeds everything up if you do this at home.
You may leave a small bag (50cmx30cmx20cm) at the baggage area during the race where, if possible it will be manned , and although every effort will be made to securely store your baggage, Please DO NOT leave any valuables, cash. Jewellery etc in your bag as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. Items not in a bag maybe refused or left at your own risk.
Due to limited space, we encourage you to leave your baggage in the car, car parking is very close

Headphones
Headphones are not allowed during this race in accordance with UK Athletics rules as the course does not have a full road closure with the exception of bone-conducting headphones.

Litter
Please Respect the local area and leave your litter, energy gels at the nearest water station or with the nearest marshal where possible. All Marshals will be provided with bin bags. .Runners will now be disqualified and taken off the results if seen discarding their rubbish outside of a water stop or not with a marshal.
PLASTIC AND ITS USE IS AN INCREASING PROBLEM
Cut off times
Time limit – We ask runners to be able complete the half marathon in approx. 3-3:30hours. If you are running slower than this pace, you will still be able to finish, however, we cannot guarantee volunteer marshals will continue to be on course and therefore it is your responsibility to look at the route and follow the course signs.
