A Magnificent & Medieval Half Marathon taking place in the beautiful grounds of Chirk Castle
“A sight to behold”
The race sees you starting from the castle portcullis and taking you around the grounds in to wooded areas, then it takes you through the village of Chirk and back to the castle grounds, finishing where you started in front of the castle.
The profile of this race is undulating and all on road.
The Castle kitchens will be open on the day to provide you with a feast fit for a king! or if you wish:pasta, a slice of cake, coffee and tea.
All runners will receive a quality bespoke medal and Tshirt.

Deadline for names on number bibs is 3 weeks before race day.
Race starts at 10am
Fun Run at 9:15am (approx 1mile)
Race HQ is open from 8am for any enquiries, located within the castle walls.
Your number and chip will be pick up on the day. Please note, nothing will be posted out.
The chip will need to be attached to your shoe with the cable tie provided, NO CHIP, NO TIME.

*Please note that it is UKA policy that headphones must not be worn during a race, RunWales do not encourage participants to wear them whilst taking part.
