All runners will receive four complete individual race medals, plus the specially commissioned four castles series medal holder.
The medals holder will need to be collected when you finish the final race at the Conwy half marathon, it will be available at the merchandise gazebo near the finish line *(please note, due to the weight of the holders, we will not post them out)

Snowdonia half marathon – 17th May 2020
A scenic but tough Half Marathon set in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. Starting and finishing in the village of Llanrwst which played host to the World Trail Running Championships in 2013. The park is a region of haunting beauty and grandeur, of wild rocky mountains, hidden valleys, cascading rivers, still glacial lakes and deep forests.
Caernarfon half marathon – 20th September 2020
New event and addition to the castles series.
A fast route that can have its direction changed when windy, so its mainly on your back, starting with a loop around the town centre in the shadows of the castle, the route takes in a flat coastline, flat country roads and flat cycle paths, ok there might be an odd rise, but nothing to worry about.
Bangor Half Marathon – 4th October 2020
This race starts and finishes in the city centre and goes out to the coastline and along the Garth Pier over the Menai Straits taking in views of Anglesey, Snowdonia and the surrounding North Wales coastline, then on to the magnificent Penrhyn castle estate, then back to the finish in the city centre.
Conwy half marathon – 15th November 2020
Voted in the top 5 most scenic Half Marathons in the UK by Readers of Runners World”, This GREAT Half Marathon now in its 12th year and “already being regarded as a classic” The start & finish is on the quayside in front of the 700+ year old Conwy Castle. 2018 Saw over 3,000 runners take part, many PB’s were achieved.
The route runs along the road adjacent to the Conwy River as it proceeds towards Deganwy beach and the West Shore Llandudno, from there it goes along church Walks towards Llandudno Pier, then around the Great Orme taking in views of the Isle of Anglesey, Puffin Island and the surrounding North Wales coastline, then back to Conwy and the finish line.
FOUR CASTLES SERIES : FREE places with St David’s Hospice Charity (minimum sponsorship required): The Castle series includes the Snowdonia Half Marathon on the 17th May, New Caernarfon Half Marathon on 20th September, Bangor Half Marathon on 4th October and the St David’s Hospice Conwy Half Marathon on 15th November.
You can choose to take part in one half marathon (minimum sponsorship level for Snowdonia, Caernarfon & Bangor £75 each and Conwy £100), or all 4 to complete the series (£200 minimum sponsorship for all four)
