- Due to the terrain, this course has been measured using a Garmin 610.
We do not want to upset or annoy local residents, therefore, please can we ask you to avoid parking along the roadside towards the start area of Beacons Way, Ellis Way & Meirion Drive, this will help ensure the area is clear for local residents & emergency services.
There are 3 parking areas available, please use the nearest car park when arriving to avoid congestion at car park A.
Car Park A: Opens at TBC closes at TBC, Is near the start finish in the field on the Beacons and NOT at the Boat launch car park (Please do not try to park in the Mulberry car park or Conwy Golf Club, this is not for our use and you may be booked)
Car Park B: Opens TBC closes at TBC, Aberconwy School, Morfa Drive
Car Park C: Pay & Display at Bodlondeb Council offices, Bangor Road, Conwy, LL32 8DU,
Users of Run Wales car parks do so at their own risk. Management will not accept liability for any accident or damage caused whilst on site. Parking is done at your own risk.

Is next to the start/finish at the Beacons Conwy Morfa.
There will be a drink station at mile 4.5 Penmaenmawr Promenade, Mile 7.2 Dwygyfylchi, Mile 10 Cadnant Park, Conwy.
Toilets / Changing
Porta Toilets are located near the start finish, there are no changing facilities.
Please do not go swimming in the narrow area next to the jetty at the Beacons as the tide will be returning and the current will be too strong for swimming.
First Aid cover will be provided by a professional medical team. First Aid station will be located at the start and finish and on course. In order to help our medical team, help you it is critical you fill out the medical history information on the back of your race number. If you are injured or unwell to carry on at any stage please notify the nearest marshal who will call for First Aid assistance. It will be the discretion of the medical team if they transport you back to the finish.
If you retire from the race please return your timing chip & if you plan not to return to the finish, it’s really important that you please let the nearest Marshal to you know and give them your race number & Timing Chip. This is so we can account for you at the end of the race. It is your responsibility to arrange transport back to the start.
Tshirts / Medals / Prizes
There will be a Tshirt and medal for all runners to collect at the finish.
- Presentation of prizes will be made at approx 1pm near the finish.
- Prizes for Male/Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall and 1st in each age category.
- You must be at the presentation to claim your prize, we will not post it out.
Baggage – opens TBC
You may leave a small bag (50cmx30cmx20cm) at the baggage area during the race where, if possible it will be manned , and although every effort will be made to securely store your baggage, Please DO NOT leave any valuables, cash. Jewellery etc in your bag as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. Items not in a bag maybe refused or left at your own risk.
A baggage facility may not be available at each event.
Due to limited space, we encourage you to leave your baggage in the car as parking is right by the start/finish
Merchandise – Opens at TBC
If you ordered a Technical T-shirt or hoodie online, these can be picked up from the merchandise trailer before or after the race, we will also have race day merchandise to purchase on the day (Cash only)
At each race we have a huge jumble sale of old stock from past races, these items are on a cash only sale.
Light refreshments, Tea, Coffee, cakes, soft drinks etc will be available to purchase at the start/finish area from Ffika Coffee

Headphones are not allowed during this race in accordance with UK Athletics rules as the course does not have a full road closure with the exception of bone-conducting headphones.

There are no road closures at this race, and is ran, on some open roads . Please listen to marshal instructions on crossing points and keep on pavements, it is your responsibility to stop for a car approaching a junction.
Please be mindful and respect local residents and DO NOT throw your bottles, energy gels on the mountain, in gardens or over walls etc. Where possible please leave your litter at the nearest water station or with the nearest marshal when a bin is not available. Runners will now be disqualified and taken off the results if seen discarding their rubbish outside of a water stop or not with a marshal.
PLASTIC AND ITS USE IS AN INCREASING PROBLEM
Cut off times
Time limit – We ask runners to be able to keep a pace of 12 min mile and complete a half marathon in 3hours. If you are running slower than this pace, you will still be able to finish, however, when directed to do so you will need to run on pavements and run as a pedestrian obeying all signals and the highway code. We cannot guarantee volunteer marshals will continue to be on course and therefore it is your responsibility to look at the route and follow the course signs. Please note, for this event, your final 2km could be different to the usual route if you are expected to finish past 3 hours. This is due to the finish line being on the beach and the tide times will stop you from completing your race here.
Where there are any road closures these will re-open to vehicular traffic on a rolling basis at an approximate pace of 15min mile.
