Great event, tough course but makes it even more fun, taking away the pressure of wanting a tome and instead enjoying the beautiful scenery.
It's disappointing that there are no longer snacks at the end of Run Wales events. Both as a little treat but to help runners refuel after a gruelling race. This impacted my rating for value for money as given the price I'd like to see some snacks at the end. Other than not having snacks it was a great event.

not just a half a marathon
tough event - unforgiven and will push you.
the views are amazing and the support from the marshalls is brilliant: thank you.

Absolutely stunning. Loved it.
Thank you to all the volunteers

Brilliant, friendly event!
Excellent for anyone wanting a really tough challenge! Also beginner friendly.
The only thing I feel should be changed is the plastic water bottles at the water stops on route. Maybe paper cups instead? More environmentally friendly!
But otherwise an amazing event! (My 3rd time!) Thank you everyone!

Great course!

Beautiful
Didn't even seem like a half marathon yes there's some hills that will make you question your life choices but it didn't feel like a half marathon it was over before I knew it because there's so much to look at it's absolutely beautiful will definitely do again. Hills build engine

Stunning route, great Marshalls
More toilets please!!!!!! Also keep the number of runners small, not overwhelming. Felt really friendly.

Stunning Run - tough but not impossible
Tough to create atmosphere on such a remote course but Marshall’s v friendly and helpful. Good introduction to more difficult races. Lots of elevation but good underfoot conditions.

Alex Duke
Hilly but worth it for the views!

Stunning views, savage climbs, great atmosphere (and a hefty medal!)
Really enjoyed the race, and the marshals and supporters were really great and helpful on those tough climbs!
Notes to improve - I was close to the front of the group before the start but couldn't hear the safety briefing/welcome because the radio/DJ was playing music and talking at the same time. It was really hard to hear due to this - can the radio be switched off while the briefing is given?
Overall I loved this route and people were constantly commenting on how beautiful it was - da iawn! Definitely doing it again :)

Fun
The event was faultless, everything run smoothly. Lovely event with amazing views

Extremely challenging
Very steep long hills that need to be trained for. Was also hot on the day which increased the challenge. Watch out as open roads in several places.

Stunning and challenging
More toilets please. A little trail section needed different shoes to the ones I had on as a large stone wedged in my soul. Lovely support from locals. Cars got a bit close in one section near Crafnant and was following me for ages and then in front behind another runner so lots of fumes. The marshals were great! Perhaps you could have a spotter to see the people running up Forest Hill and give them a raffle ticket to exchange for a medal? I did the hill both years perhaps you could photograph the ones running it as well just as added validation and added achievement rather than just stating a that you have done it and claiming the medal
